Worst parking ever?

Tinton Falls, NJ

Chris says, “I think we have a winner for the worst parking ever here. Apparently this New Yorker believed that parking in the middle of the road is okay when it snows. The car is parked facing the wrong direction, in front of a stop sign, blocking traffic. There was no one in the car, and there were available parking spots on the other side of the snow pile.”

Precious Chevy

Bethel Park, PA

Jennifer took this at a Shop ‘n Save and says, “The car with headlights was just driving through, but the parked one in the handicapped spot is the bad parker.  I guess they didn’t want anyone hitting their precious….Chevy.”

Shopping day

Olney, MD

Eric says, “This was taken in at a shopping center. Not only did this driver straddle the line between two prime spaces just 40 feet from the store front, they also didn’t pull all the way in. For a double bonus, note the two cars (dark grey and silver) in the next row over. These drivers parked at an angle (supposed to be straight spaces) preventing anyone from taking the space between them. I know that there’s still snow blocking some of the spaces, but there’s no excuse for this.”

It’s all yellow

Bethel Park, PA

Jennifer says, “This is at a utility company’s parking lot. I wish you could see the yellow line better, about 2 feet to the left of the tire on the right. This truck parks here every day; he should know the lines by now. The white and the blue cars should have 2 spaces between them. To top it off, there are only 8 spaces here and it’s often full. I am guessing the truck is afraid to park near snow?”

I painted in the yellow lines for your viewing ease.

A la Wal-Mart

Shreveport, LA

Courtney says, “This was taken in a Wal-Mart parking lot. The driver of the red truck may suck at keeping their vehicle between the lines, but they sure did get that passenger side rear tire lined up on top of it like a pro! The fence was too close to the parking area, so I was unable to get a decent shot from the front to show just how far over the line truck actually was.”

Recall

Athens, Georgia

Lauren says, “As I was searching for a parking spot in a very crowded parking lot I noticed this Toyota taking up two spots. Not only is this car taking up the two spots noticeable in this picture, the car is also pulled forward about 2-3 ft across the line into the next spots. A compact car…in 4 spots. Can’t blame this one on the Toyota recall.”

No triple rows

Indianapolis, IN

It’s a little difficult to see at first, but look closely and read the description.

Andrea says, “This was taken in the parking lot of a cinema. The white SUV is mine and is parked within the white lines of the space. The car at the right is in the space, but pulled forward into the space next to mine. We have no idea what the red SUV [in the foreground] was thinking! There are no lines where she stopped and last I checked, not very many parking lots are triple rows!”
