Nikki (The Grammarphile) took this picture in her office parking lot. “I love how, if one person parks like an idiot, it starts a pattern/chain reaction of idiotic parking.”

Of course, we all know the proper response to the SUV’s parking problem: park within inches of the driver’s door. Too bad the driver of the Civic didn’t have the guts.

OMG! I think I know this spot… and I think I know Nikki!!!

  3. I wouldn’t have had the guts to park right up next to the SUV either. In my town, even with the amount of space the Civic has left, it would still get flattened when the SUV tries to pull out, never mind opening the door.

i don’t think they it caused a chain reaction of bad parking, would you park normally? you’d risk hitting the idiot that parked wrong in the first place, and if they can’t park properly i seriously doubt their ability to reverse out of the park properly.
