I’d say someone doesn’t know where the front of their vehicle ends. Uh hem.
It’s not even the beds that are large these days. It’s those stupid “extra-extended full-sized jumbo” cabs. Should a “pickup” truck really seat a family of six at the same time you need to haul a little (and from the size of that bed, very little!) wood? Or should it be just for, you know, “picking up” stuff at the hardware store?
