Damage is done?

South Elgin, IL
Tuesday found this ridiculous example of bad parking at the Red Robin where she works. She and her friend left a pretty nasty note which I won’t repeat for fear of delicate ears, but it did include the statement, “I did some damage to your car. Find it.” She claims they didn’t really damage the car though.
Should we believe her? (Thanks Tuesday!)

Bad parking is no excuse for nasty notes. Besides, all they will do is infuriate the driver into continuing to park badly. A kind, thoughtful and friendly note about the benefits of parking well would be much better.

This isnt bad parking. They did this on PURPOSE. They have a very expensive car, and obviously didnt want someone to ding their doors.
Not that I agree with this, but it is not BAD parking.

Laura is right. I see it all the time in suburbia. Big, expensive cars parked oddly (usually at the back-end of the lot) so that (theoretically) no one can park next to them.
It might be nice to pull up directly next to them some time.

In my opinion, this is not bad parking. If you have an expensive sports car you are allowed to flaunt it by parking as such.

You have got to be joking, Rachelle.

I don’t think it’s right to take up more than one spot with your car but what other defense is there against assholes who swing the doors of their shitboxes without any care for other people’s more expensive cars?

If you guys are finding so many examples of actual bad parking, can you really blame these folks for wanting to park their vehicles so it’s hard for other jerks to ding them?
As long as they’re not really trashing the availability of parking (lots of folks who do this, do it toward the rear of the lot).
